convened
a
general
meeting
at
Liwe,
Su'upeine
Bay,
where
he
met community
leaders
and
land
owners
in
that
area
to
explain
and
clarify
certain
issues
relating
to
the
proposed
industrial
park
to
be
established
at
Liwe
under
the
Israeli
Economic
Stimulus
Package
to
Malaita
Province.
Hon
Hou
explained
the
role
of
various
parties
and
interest
groups
in
this
proposal.
He
warned
that
community
leaders
must
be
careful
not
to
mislead
their
people
by
promising
the
world
to
them
with
any
donor
assistance.
He
assured
the
people
that
this
proposal
is
like
the
beginning
of
a
long
journey
which
will be
rough
and
difficult
and
therefore
will
require
dedication,
commitment
and
a
lot
o f
hard
work
on
the
part
of
all
stake
holders.
He
pointed
that
there
is
a
need
for
stronger
consultation
between
all
parties
more
particularly
between
the
office
of
the
Israeli
Consular,
the
national
Government,
the
Malaita
Provincial government,
the
MCA
and
SMCO.
He
said
that
he
is
encouraged
by
his
people
working
together
on
this
project
and
urged
that
they
open
up
their
resources
for
Development.
